DIY Cluster Necklace

I just wanted to post to show you guys my cluster necklace I made during girl's night on Monday.

It's super easyto make if you have any patience at all.

Supplies:

Headpins
Pretty beads
6" of regular chain
16" decorative chain
Pliers
2 jump rings

How to:

I followed this tutorial to learn how to make a loop
Put one of your beads on a headpin and use your pliers to cut excess off the top. I left about 1/2 an inch of headpin above my bead.
Then, using your pliers, make a loop and hook it onto your regular chain.
Repeat until you have as many clusters as you want.
At each end of your regular chain, add a jump ring and hook it onto your decorative chain.
Make sure your decorative chain comes with a clasp already attached.

Lastly, admire your new necklace :)

Hope everyone's having a great Wednesday!

Bracelets

Speaking of crafts (I did in my last post), I completely forgot about a craft I did over break until now.
It's a craft I found on Pinterest a looooong time ago that I started a while back and finally got around to finishing it. The tutorial, from Yellow Blackbird, was inspired by a bracelet from Anthropologie. And to be honest, I love hers so much more than the original. Which led me to make my own.  I linked her tutorial because it's a much better tutorial than I could ever make, and she also has a ton of other cute projects you should check out!

Here's her version

And here's my version

My bangles came from Forever 21 and my hemp and rhinestones from Hobby Lobby. I could only find dark colored hemp (brown, navy, black) so I just went with the navy
There was enough hemp in one pack for all three of my bracelets.
I also decided to do 8 rhinestones instead of 4 so there would be more bling :)

Make some of your own to wear or give as gifts!
Happy Wednesday

Braided Bead Bracelet

Besides all the cupcakes I have been whipping up lately, I have also been making several bracelets I have come across on Pinterest.

The first one I want to share with you is this one from Henry Happened
It's a slightly different version to the wrap bracelets that have become popular recently but I like these a lot and they are much simpler to make. The tutorial can be found at the link above.
All you need are some cheap 8mm beads and 9 yards of satin ribbon cord.  Both of which I got from Hobs Lobs.

My versions

I think the navy one will look perfect with my Auburn game outfits. :)
Now you should go make you one (or two or three).
Happy crafting!
